This interactive online seminar is designed to help parents become empowered advocates for their child when extra support is needed in the classroom. Whether you are new to the world of special education or have been navigating the process and want more expertise, this presentation will give you tools to become the best advocate for your child’s needs!
What you’ll learn
Rachel Nemhauser has been an active member of the disabilities community since 2009. She served two terms on the Washington State Developmental Disabilities Council and has worked at The Arc of King County since 2015, where she is currently the Director of Information and Family Support. Rachel has assisted thousands of families in navigating special education and other complex systems of support. She is also the parent of a 20-year-old autistic son, and is passionate about supporting people with disabilities and their families.
